The school provides a homework centre with tutors available and parents are encouraged to meet regularly with staff so all are fully aware of their student's progress and needs. For example: Science provides a flexible facility with built in wireless technology; Visual Arts has a digital production room and darkroom; History has a working museum; Social Sciences uses floor to ceiling display spaces and provide a focus on field work. Computing has four computer rooms and faculty digital labs, while the Library has extensive capacity for book and IT research. PD/H/PE provides an equipped gym, and Drama has a function designed learning and performance space. The needs of students with English language, learning, physical and intellectual disabilities are catered for through our highly effective Support Unit and our specialised staff in learning difficulties, ESL and literacy.
