Macarthur Anglican School is located on a 120 acre site in rural Cobbitty, near Camden. On this site the students enjoy access to top class facilities including modern purpose built classrooms for students of all ages, excellent technology resources and a broad range of sporting facilities. |

Macarthur has a well developed music programme on offer to its students. In addition to timetabled lessons, the curriculum for students from Year 3 to Year 6 features an instrumental programme. HSC Music to Extension 2 level is offered each year. School ensembles include a Symphony Orchestra, Stage Band, Concert Band, Preparatory Band, Preparatory Orchestra, Choirs and a range of smaller ensembles. A team of visiting teachers offer instrumental tuition on site. |

At Macarthur Anglican School we believe that a Christian School is one where the message of the Christian Gospel is proclaimed clearly and regularly and where the values and attitudes that underpin Christianity are encouraged. While many families at Macarthur are regularly involved with their own church, many others do not have this type of link. The School Chaplain offers support to students and their families, often during times of challenge or distress. In addition to conducting regular Chapel Services for students, the Chaplain also leads a Sunday Service at the School each week. |

Macarthur seeks to lift the horizons of its students to look beyond the local to the global context in which they live. The School has close ties to other schools in Hungary, Canada, Japan, Tanzania, Thailand and Indonesia. A student exchange programme to Hungary is available to students in Year 10 and individual tutor groups sponsor students at St Michael School in Tanzania and correspond with these students regularly. Visits to Thailand in conjunction with St Paul's Anglican School, Bald Hills, Qld are an annual event as are visits from Nihon the Third High School in Tokyo, Japan and a variety of Schools in Thailand. |

Based upon the model provided for us by Christ, our students learn about service from their earliest years. Members of the School community support the work of St Michael Secondary School in Tanzania through the Tanzania Trek each year. Year 11 students complete 25 hours of community service each year in the local community and around the School. Students in Year 11 also have the opportunity to be involved in the Thailand Outreach held each year. Year 6 students may participate in the North Queensland Outreach each year and there is a large and active Community Service Team. |
