The Scots College is one of Australia's oldest and most respected boys schools. The College’s educational philosophy honours the adventures and learning of boys, with innovative programs designed to prepare boys to be men of stature and substance who will generously learn, lead and serve.
“Our challenge is to ensure the Scots experience fosters leadership, character and spirit to define the Brave Heart and Bold Mind of every fine Scots boy,” says Principal, Dr Ian PM Lambert.
Scots’ Glengarry outdoor education program is renowned for providing a learning environment which does just this. Year 9 boys spend five months living at the Glengarry campus in the Kangaroo Valley. In an academic program supported by outdoor education, leadership, co-curricular and sporting programs designed to challenge and extend boys, they discover their inner resources to grow into fine young men. |

The Early Learning Centre’s curriculum is based on the Reggio Emilia approach, providing a nurturing start to boys’ formal education.
Boys can study Indonesian (from Year 5) and French and Latin (from Year 7). There is also an extensive range of other elective courses (from Year 9).
Creative and Performing Arts are part of the core curriculum until Year 8 and then are available as an elective.
The Scots College Institute of Business and Economics provides a forum for boys to learn from their predecessors and be exposed to 'real world' opportunities.
An extensive Honours program enables selected students to undertake extension and enrichment in a number of disciplines.
A selection of VET courses such as Real Estate and Hospitality are offered. |

Sports offered include: Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Cross Country, Football, Rifle Shooting, Rowing, Rugby, Sailing, Snowsports, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball and Water Polo.
Scots’ diverse co-curricular program includes Cadets, Chess, Community Service, Debating and Public, Speaking, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Film and Media, Orchestra and Pipes and Drums. |

Pastoral Care at Scots focuses on the development of the 'whole student'; his values, attitudes and character on the journey to manhood. All boys from Transition to Year 12 are given individual care by classroom teachers, and in the Senior School, via the House tutor system. |

The Graeme Clark Centre for Innovation in the Sciences is a state-of-the-art facility which serves to inspire Scots boys through the use of video conferencing technologies with world renowned scientists and presenters.

A fully equipped Clinic is staffed by qualified nursing sisters 24 hours a day.
