Living Faith Lutheran Primary School prides itself on being a caring, family friendly community and providing a quality education in a Christian context for children from Prep to Year 6. The school belongs to the network of over 80 co-educational schools run by the Lutheran Church of Australia.
Established in 2001, the school offers spacious grounds and attractive buildings. Classrooms are well resourced, with each classroom having interactive whiteboards which teachers use as a tool to assist learning.
Teachers are selected for their ability to develop a positive classroom climate where each child is valued for the individual they are, and to use models of curriculum delivery that assist students develop skills for life-long learning.
Programs that assist in developing a family friendly culture within the school include lunch time club activities, buddy relationships between senior and junior students and a ‘Friday picnic’ for students across the school. Regular class and whole school worship also contribute to the sense of community with a strong values program embedded into everyday school life.
A chaplain (employed under the National Government Chaplaincy Programme) is available for additional support for students and their families.
Living Faith is a partner school with Grace Lutheran College, Rothwell. Students receive priority entry into the College, beginning with the Middle years at Year 7.
An Outside Schools Hours Care Service (before and after school and school holidays) operates from the school grounds.
