The Middle Schooling Program at The Cathedral School represents an exciting and challenging opportunity for students, staff, the school, and wider community to deal more effectively with a broad range of issues confronting young adolescents in a dynamic and evolving modern world. The purpose of middle schooling is to provide a safe, disciplined environment for children to learn in.

In the Senior School, we aim to give students strong foundations for the future by combining academic studies with the development of skills and attitudes essential for life and work in the 21st century.
Small classes, a disciplined environment, committed staff and excellent facilities assist all students to reach their academic potential. Our high rate of university acceptances and significant student successes are proof that this formula works.

Outdoor Education is about adventure, knowledge, skill training, excitement, perseverance, commitment, self satisfaction, awareness, trepidation and of course fun.
It has much to do with freedom ………and responsibility.
Specific themes are explored in each year level. However, Outdoor Education is multi-disciplinary, containing elements of History, Geography, Science, Mathematics, English, Art and Personal Development intertwined in a maze of emotions and experiences.
