Space to Learn

The SCOTS PGC College is a co-educational boarding and day school from Prep to Year 12. The College is situated in the city of Warwick, amidst the picturesque landscape of the southeast Darling Downs, close to the NSW border.

Since its foundation in 1918, the College has attracted boarding enrolments from all parts of Australia and overseas, and will continue to do so because of its excellent facilities and commitment to educational excellence. The spacious residential campuses for students, staff and their families create a vibrant and caring atmosphere that bonds the College community.

Boarding

The college has two historic boarding campuses three kilometres apart. The girls have a beautiful setting with the home of ‘Glenbrae’ at PGC and the boys’ campus is on the banks of the Condamine River.
Principal Michael Harding said this year there are 480 students attending the College in 2010. “Every student is treated as an individual and we want them to grow into confident young men and women,” he said.
“When a student leaves home for boarding school it is a big adjustment.”
“You not only want them to achieve their best academically but to enjoy the experience of being an extended family. The caring and committed academic, sporting and boarding staff assists with academic tutoring and literacy support and Senior students are given the opportunity to do student-based traineeships across a number of industries.

Our Mission

The College, with its basis of Christian principles and beliefs, works in partnership with families to enable our students to confidently and competently move into fulfilling and rewarding futures. Social, emotional and intellectual capacities are built through expertly shaped challenge and support. Students develop to become men and women of character - morally sound, healthy, positive participants in their own families and workplaces, as well as in their local and global communities.

Co-curricular

Co-curricular activities include the Pipe Band, Equestrian, Cattle and Sheep Club along with the comprehensive sporting competition among the TAS schools in Brisbane.
