The Junior School program utilises a wide range of technologies and innovative student-centred approaches to teaching and learning. Students are involved in multi-disciplinary tasks and are encouraged to be actively engaged in and share their learning. Tasks are developed by a team of teachers who work solely or predominately with Year 7 or Year 8 students.

The values underpin students’ pursuit of academic excellence. Pursuing excellence is at the core of the Year 12 ‘DreamCatchers’ Program, which is designed to support high achieving students who are aiming to achieve a high ATAR score for entry into a university. Students qualify for DreamCatchers by reaching GoldStar Academic status from Years 7-11 and thereby being awarded goldstars.
College sport and physical education programs cater for a wide variety of interests and skills. Students are actively encouraged to participate and to achieve their personal best.
Camps, excursions and outdoor education programs form an integral part of the College and we offer our students opportunities to develop team building and communication skills as well as a high level of self – confidence.
The College has a strong commitment to the performing arts and our state-of-the art Performing Arts Centre boasts a theatre and music practice and rehearsal rooms.
Student leadership programs provide opportunities to develop personal and social skills which complement students’ academic studies. The Student Ambassador Program incoroporates school captains, sub-school captains, and amabassadors of; homegroups, curriculum, the arts. Students also have leadership opportunities in the Beacon Program and Police Youth/Drum Corp.
