Christie College is a co-educational school offering a well-rounded easy education for students from Kindergarten right through to Year 12. It opened in 1996 and has enjoyed excellent academic and sports success since its beginning. |

We are a non denominational school with a strong set of moral guidelines. Our students are taught to be kind to each other, accept differences and exhibit tolerance and acceptance. Students are also involved in charitable work in the community. Emphasis is placed on a balance of physical health, personal well-being and scholarship.

Christie College has a strong emphasis on the core subjects of Maths and English from early Junior school through to Senior years. The college also offers IT, Arts, Humanities and Languages subjects from the early years. There are extension programs and remedial support classes to allow all students to reach their potential. |

There are 24 extra curricular subjects and activities offered at Christie College. Among these are chess, aerobics, dance, a marching band, school orchestra, choir and a variety of competitive sports and coaching. A school musical is held every year. |

The school has many modern facilities including an auditorium, sports centre and playing fields. There are science labs, computer classrooms and Junior and Senior libraries, as well as a cafeteria for the Senior students. Boarding facilities are modern and comfortable. |

The school organises well supervised enriching trips in Australia and overseas for students who wish to participate. Speakers are also regularly invited to the school to address students, such as authors and experts in various areas. |
