The Sydney Distance Education Primary School exists to support students who are unable to attend their local school. Many of our students are on the move travelling both within Australia or overseas, though we also support students who have significant special needs preventing attendance and students who are engaged in vocational activities. |

The Sydney Distance Education Primary School features state of the art facilities for distance education such as an audio/visual studio, mail room, disabled access, high speed internet and server network, smart board and video conferencing equipment. Students engage with teachers online using Edmodo, Studyladder, Bugclub and many other web based elearning platforms. We are currently augmenting our resources to include apps for learning using mobile devices and mobile format units of work. |

The Sydney Distance Education Primary School caters for special needs of all kinds and specialise in teaching students that are unable to attend a comprehensive school due to behavioural risk, medical needs or learning difficulties. The parent or an appropriate supervisor is responsible for overseeing the child’s learning and ensuring regular contact between the teacher and the child. |
