Welcome to St Augustine's College

Quality Catholic Education has long been valued by families in the Ipswich area. St Augustine’s College is now continuing that fine tradition of inclusive, quality Catholic education in the South East corridor of Ipswich serving the Greater Springfield area and adjacent suburbs.

Since opening in January 2003, St Augustine's College has grown in stature and reputation, having created a strong educational community catering for children and young people from six weeks to eighteen in a genuine P – 12 College.

Excellence in Education

Founded in the Augustinian tradition around central values of Community, Love and Truth, this community has placed high priority on Learning and Teaching, being an early adopter of the new Australian Curriculum.

St Augustine's College has a comprehensive ICLT plan with a 1:1 device program for students from Years 6-12 that includes iPads and MacBooks. There are multiple pathways for students to choose, catering for those who will seek a University education, or those who will seek to enter a trade and those who will seek early entry into the workforce.

Pastoral Care

At St Augustine's College, student wellbeing is the foundation of building healthy relationships and nurturing families who welcome the opportunity to have all of their school aged children in one familiar setting.

The P – 12 setting provides cost effectiveness for families and opportunities to see and experience the full development of students from commencement of formal school to graduation from Year 12.

Rich Extra Curricular Program

St Augustine's College provides the full range of educational opportunities in the formal and co-curricular educational program.

There are numerous sporting, cultural, social justice, outdoor education and leadership opportunities provided for students at St Augustine's College by staff who have a genuine interest in the development of young people.

Year 7 transition to Secondary Education

The College is well prepared for the transition of Yr 7 moving into a secondary school setting from 2015 as this is already current Middle schooling practice at St Augustine's College.

Our Community

St Augustine's College is a family-friendly College community – a community with spirit and an exciting Vision for the future.
