Lourdes Hill College has a proud tradition of involvement in the Creative Arts, particularly music. The Extra-Curricular Music Department is an important part of the College. It aims to provide opportunities for students to take part in music regardless of skills or experience, whilst providing challenges and varied opportunities for established musicians.
There are many performance opportunities for students at Lourdes Hill College; including school and outside concerts, assembly performances, music competitions/ festivals and music camps.
Each year there may be the opportunity for students to apply for an Instrumental Half Scholarship on particular instruments. |

Facilities include the Good Samaritan Centre, a high quality indoor sports facility accommodating netball, basketball, volleyball, badminton and many recreational activities.
An outdoor tennis court encourages students to practice and provides an on campus facility for coaching. Lourdes Hill College is fortunate in its position along the Brisbane River with the development of water sports including Kayaking, Sailing and Rowing. |
