Our School

Mueller College was established in 1990 as a Christian, co-educational day school and is a ministry of Mueller Community Church. Mueller College caters for students from Christian and non-Christian backgrounds with a total enrolment of 1350 students from Prep to Year 12.

The aim of Mueller College is to prepare students for life in the world and eternity by applying Biblical principles through excellent education and exemplary Christian living.

Mueller College offers a broad range of academic and vocational programmes, catering for students of all ability levels and interests. These programmes are delivered in modern classrooms and specialist facilities, with access to computers and ‘state of the art’ performing arts centre. The academic program exceeds all government requirements.

Besides the outstanding facilities and resources, our reputation is enhanced by the caring and dedicated Christian staff who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning for students, and to their own professional and spiritual development as educators.

Our Values

Mueller College is devoted to the care and well-being of students to maximize their spiritual, academic, physical, social and emotional potential for the service of God and their community.

We value an educational environment which encourages students to learn of God and respond to Him in love and obedience.

We work in partnership with families to support them in the role of raising their children well, adding values and moral teaching. We support and encourage parents to be involved in the life of the College.

Curriculum

The Mueller College curriculum from Prep to Year 12 meets all the requirements of the National and State education authorities, and work programmes for each subject have been written to be consistent with our Christian values. The College goal is for all students to work towards their potential. This is achieved through the provision of extension (gifted & talented) programmes as well as extensive learning support classes at all year levels and across all faculties, including Vocational Education and training programmes.

Extra Curricular & Mission Activities

Mueller College offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities including sporting teams (including inter-school activities), cultural experiences, music and musicals, drama, debating, chess club, remote controlled aero club, rock-wall climbing, bike hikes, camping and adventure activities.

Many students have also been involved in fund-raising activities that support underprivileged people or local service groups eg 40 Hour Famine, and overseas missionaries and at- risk children and families.

An extensive Missions program has been a priority of Mueller College since its inception in 1990. Our missions include educational support, music, drama, craft, sport, and outreach and building programs. Mission teams have been initiated in Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, China, Mongolia, Nepal, as well as remote areas in outback Australia. An alternative Schoolies Mission Trip to Vanuatu has been initiated in recent years with growing popularity amongst our year 12 students. This trip provides material support and resources to individuals and remote communities of Vanuatu, as well as some time for students to celebrate the completion of their school life.

As a service to our local community many students have also been involved in encouragement and support activities in shopping centres and Retirement Villages through visitation, working parties, and special presentations.
