The Pre-K Program

Our Pre-K class offers a quality introduction to school. Children benefit from a professional pre-school learning programme with distinctly Danebank educational features:

Academic Achievement

As a result of NAPLAN testing, the Sydney Morning Herald cited Danebank as the best non-selective school in the St George and Sutherland Shire areas. Danebank HSC students have achieved "First in the State" 7 times in a range of subjects since 1990. In 2009 four Danebank students were awarded Premier’s Awards (for scoring 90 or more in 10 units). More than 90 percent of the students received university offers and 50% were merit listed.


Danebank offers a number of scholarships each year:

 A full and Half academic scholarships for entry into year 5, 7 and 11.

A half Old Girls scholarship for the daughter of a former Danebank student entering Year 7.

A Music scholarship for a student entering Year 7, 8 or 9.·        

A Life Skills Scholarship is also offered for students with special needs who enter our Life Skills Program.


The school is situated in Hurstville, with easy access to train and bus transport.
