Welcome to Our Lady of Sion College

Established in 1928, Our Lady of Sion College is a Catholic secondary school for girls renowned for its inclusive and welcoming community, and its commitment to excellence. Our vision statement, 'Sowing the seeds of hope, uncovering excellence within and inspiring a commitment to justice', underpins the student centred focus of our faith, learning, wellbeing and co-curricular programs. We work to ensure that each student is named and known, and is encouraged and supported to pursue her dreams and aspirations.

We are a vibrant learning community constantly looking for ways to engage, challenge and extend our students. We value student voice and are very proud of the way that students demonstrate commitment and leadership.

We have award winning choirs and artists, top mathematicians and chemists, articulate debaters and champion aerobics teams. Sion students can participate in ballroom dancing one day and an AFL umpiring course the next. They produce magnificent garments in textiles and lead discussions in human rights and global issues. Ultimately, our students are encouraged to embrace all opportunities and to love their learning.

Why choose Our Lady of Sion?

Some aspects of our school that our students and families value include:
