EDUCATION WITH A DIFFERANCE

Hervey Bay Christian Academy offers something unique in education to the families of Hervey Bay. We are an independent Christian school providing educational services from Kindergarten through to Year 12 in a lovely bush land campus. Whether you are new to the Bay, or have lived here for some time, you are invited to come and experience the difference in education at Hervey Bay Christian Academy.

ACADEMIA

The Academy's unique learning programme brings out the best in every student maximising their own potential. Students learn at their own rate and level, mastery learning is a key part of the Academy's programme. Students have access to teachers on a one-to-one basis and enjoy learning without feeling embarrassed at asking questions. This individualised approach assures the best transition for students from Hervey Bay Christian Academy to further education and training. Students receive a customised education perfectly suited to their strengths and interests.

CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES

At Hervey Bay Christian Academy, Christian principles form the underpinning for all the teaching and learning at the Academy. Students grow in confidence knowing they are being taught to do what is right. Christian values are nurtured in every aspect of school life.

FACILITIES

Hervey Bay Christian Academy has recently undergone a large building project. Our new Multi-purpose Hall and Library have enhanced the Academy's ability to provide excellence in education to all our students.

SAFETY

Parents feel confident in leaving their children at school everyday. They know that each child is valued and cared for as an individual. As a smaller school, we offer students greater support from staff to foster positive relationships. No child needs to put up with wrong or abusive behaviour from others. The Academy promotes positive conflict resolution so that students can go to school feeling safe. In this environment, friendships are formed that can last a lifetime.
