Our Vision

Our vision is for all students to achieve to the best of their individual abilities in all aspects of their development, in order to equip them with the skills necessary to deal with the many unique challenges that they will each face in society.

School Purpose

Joondalup ESC provides a positive teaching and learning environment that supports all of our students to acquire, develop and extend their individual academic, creative, physical, social and emotional skills that will enable them to become active participants within the wider community.

We strive to ensure that each student is planned for individually, talking into consideration the things that are important for each student and their family, environment and community.

Quality Teaching and Leadership

Joondalup ESC understands that staff are our most important resource. Staff at Joondalup ESC strive to be dynamic, competent educators who plan for individual differences and understand the needs of the whole child. Dedicated staff teach a range of quality programs which are specialised, individualised and specifically tailored to each student's needs and abilities. All staff are highly trained and competent to design, implement and evaluate programs for students with an intellectual disability, sensory impairment, physical disability, challenging behaviour and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Family and Community Partnerships

Joondalup ESC is responsive and collaborative with the community and its ever changing needs and opportunities. The Joondalup Community is actively engaged with our school. We understand the invaluable role families and community share with students, staff and school. Parents play a pivotal role in the education of students and staff and Joondalup ESC. Parents are active partners in our student's education.
