Overview

Since 1972, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School has given students a natural advantage. From 12 months right through to Year 12, we give our students the space, support and challenge every young person needs to thrive.

Set on 33 hectares of native bushland just 10 minutes south of Bunbury, our campus offers the freedom to explore, focus and thrive in a setting that’s uniquely Western Australian.

With nearly 750 students and more than 200 staff, Grammar is a vibrant, close-knit community. Strong academics are just the beginning – our students take part in specialist programs across sport, music, the arts and outdoor learning, backed by genuine care and great expectations.

We’re here to help young people find their strengths, build confidence and step into the world ready for whatever comes next.

Early Learning (12 months - Kindy)

From 12 months old, little learners at Grammar are surrounded by nature, nurtured by expert educators and encouraged to play, explore and grow. With spacious bushland, specialist programs and a strong sense of care, our Early Learning sets the foundation for confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

Primary (PP - Year 6)

Our Primary years are all about discovery. With access to specialist teachers, dynamic programs and shared facilities, students build skills across music, sport, technology and the arts – all while growing friendships, independence and a strong sense of self in a close-knit, supportive environment.

Secondary (Year 7 - 12)

Our Secondary program offers real breadth – with strong academic pathways, creative and performing arts, VET options, outdoor education and leadership. Whether students are university-bound, trade-focused or creatively driven, they’re supported to stretch themselves, find their fit and graduate with the skills and confidence to take on what’s next.

Boarding

Boarding at Grammar blends independence with comfort – think cottage-style living, shared meals, and weekends spent by the coast. It’s a safe, supportive space where students form lifelong friendships, gain confidence and enjoy a uniquely Western Australian lifestyle, all while making the most of everything Grammar has to offer.
