Our Castle Hill campus was established in 1961 and continues to offer the community a nurturing and safe environment for those wishing to enrol their child in a Christian private school, tucked away in a quiet and leafy location.
Kindy to Year 5, along with an Early Learning Centre, is the focus at our Castle Hill campus. In 2024, Year 6 will commence at Castle Hill. Students transition to our Kellyville campus in Year 7.
Our Early Learning Centre has an excellent school readiness program called "Prep" to offer students a smooth transition into Kindy.
We believe that early childhood is the time of most essential learning in a child’s life and a valuable time for developing moral and spiritual values.
We provide a place where our words and actions guide children to be kind, respectful, independent and collaborative thinkers, supporting them to celebrate their differences and flourish.
Our Early Learning Centre offers a play-based program with a project approach. We provide a focus on Pre-Literacy and Pre-Numeracy to give children a head-start on their schooling journey.
We also provide a developmentally appropriate program in a second language other than English, using the ELLA program (Early Learning Languages Australia).
Students at the Castle Hill campus are guided to explore and grow academically while encouraging a strong connection to faith, self and others.
We provide students with the skills they need to thrive in their schooling years, with a particular focus on numeracy and literacy, using evidence-based, effective programs to enable students to succeed in the school environment. Our students also benefit from our emphasis on wellbeing, with specialist programs across all year levels to encourage and empower students to develop resilience, compassion and nurture for their peers and wider community.
Here at Hills Adventist College we are committed to providing quality and inclusive learning opportunities for all our students, placing a high level of importance on nurturing student wellbeing and positive mental health.
We have a strong team of experienced Teachers, Chaplains and Counsellors who take the time to get to know and understand each student. They provide mentorship, guidance and foster in students a sense of belonging and involvement which helps them develop a strong sense of positive wellbeing.
Students have the opportunity to participate in various extra-curricular and after school activities at the College.
Music Tuition is available for students who would like to learn an instrument. This is facilitated by private tutors that attend the College during the day, to save you transporting your child to music tuition after school. Costs and availability can be discussed with the tutor directly.
After school activities such as soccer, coding and robotics, Mandarin class, and dance classes are also available during school terms.
