Tintern Grammar is an independent school offering excellent, quality education to children through engagement and a genuine love of learning enabled by excellent teaching. With a rich historical legacy of over 140 years, Tintern provides a broad range of innovative and exciting teaching and learning programs from our Early Learning Centre to Year 12.
From Prep to Year 9, students thrive in a coeducational environment but are taught in single gender classes, known as our Parallel Learning model. In Years 10 to 12 students learn and study in their own purpose built facility, Senior College, a coeducational environment in preparation for their tertiary journey and life beyond school. We offer our senior students the options of VCE or IB catering to every learner.
Our vision is to provide a learning environment that values relationships within our community, inspires wonder, independence and engagement with learning and allows each child to achieve their personal and academic best in preparation for life outside of our school gates.
Our campus is located within 42 acres of treed, landscaped grounds, with extensive playing fields, a gymnasium, swimming pool and even our own farm. We pride ourselves on our exceptional staff, our curricular and co-curricular offerings, and our commitment to community and belonging.
