As a large secondary school we are able to offer a broad range of academic and vocational subjects so that students can choose a university, TAFE or vocational educational and training pathway.
Italian, Japanese and German are offered as language subjects Persian and Arabic are offered in classes after school.
We offer a wide variety of lunchtime, after school and interschool sporting activities, with the emphasis in school sport being on participation, and all interested students will be able to experience sports such as Soccer, Netball, Basketball, Athletics, Volleyball and Football. We also offer Special Interest Sport programs.
Roma Mitchell Secondary College also provides the option of a separate girls only campus which provides families with the choice of having their daughters in girls only classes and extra curricular activities. Teachers of the Girls' Education Campus are skilled in engaging girls in developing confidence and empowering them to achieve their potential in academic, sporting and social pursuits.
We have a purpose built Special Education Campus which caters for the learning, social and physical needs students with intellectual disabilities. Staff in this campus are highly skilled in working with special needs students.
