Coomera Anglican College

Welcome

Coomera Anglican College is a leading Gold Coast Private Christian School, developing young minds in a future-focused learning environment.
We provide a nurturing and supportive education environment from Early Learning and Preparatory through to Year 12.

Located on a sprawling 15 hectares on the northern Gold Coast, our College houses competitive facilities and a nurturing community where students excel.

Our College prides itself on balancing individual academic, community, sporting and creative pursuits to prepare our students for the opportunities of today’s world.

Early Learning

Through play-based learning, our youngest students will be transported into a world where anything is possible.
Our facilities are thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration and experimentation with our inviting and engaging outdoor play area.

Senior Kindy and Pre-Preparatory are designed to channel a child’s imagination and optimism into real-world exploring and experimenting. Our programmes use emerging curriculum that is generated by children’s interests, passion, and wonder.

Primary Years

Our Primary Campus is where educational ethos is grounded in innovative pedagogy, fostering a nurturing community committed to shaping young minds and hearts.
Guided by Christian principles, students are inspired to learn, lead, and serve, all while striving for excellence together.

The latest technology and cutting-edge curriculum combine for students to become the architect of their own learning, while growing academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Junior Secondary Years

The Junior Secondary years are when students step into the driver’s seat of their learning.
Our dynamic Junior Secondary Programme is tailored to engage and support adolescents in Year 7 to Year 9 during this pivotal stage of growth.

While academic excellence remains central to our mission, we are equally devoted to fostering holistic development—nurturing our students socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Secondary Senior Years

The Senior Secondary years are where potential is unleashed, and students hone their passions and take definitive steps to start achieving their dreams.
A student’s personal development plan includes programmes, workshops and support that includes mindfulness, wellbeing, study skills, career planning, spiritual development, cyber safety and so much more.

We strive for each individual student to graduate with reflective practices, to be empathic, to be engaged and to be confident and curious in the world around them.

Cocurricular

All students are encouraged to participate in our diverse range of cocurricular activities in order to foster a sense of belonging and facilitate mental, spiritual, cultural and social growth.

SPORT:
Sport promotes the potential for lifelong learning participation in physical activity. By engaging students in sports we provide a sense of community and social connectedness, help develop motor skills, movement competence and positive emotional health.
Our College is competitive in sports at a local, regional, state, and national level, and our students also benefit from advanced programmes, elite pathways, and strategic partnerships with external sporting organisations to further their sporting opportunities.
MUSIC:
Engaging with music enhances cognitive abilities, fosters emotional wellbeing, and promotes social skills, contributing positively to a child's overall development.
Students have the opportunity to learn instruments and have pathways for skills extensions and creative awareness through a variety of different opportunities, including participating in a College Music Ensemble, Orchestras and bands.
PERFORMING ARTS:
We take immense pride in fostering a culture where students explore many opportunities within the Performing Arts.
Our annual Drama class productions provide a platform for students to showcase their talents to our College community. Additionally, our students enthusiastically engage in competitions like the Gold Coast Secondary Schools Drama Festival and 'Shakefest,' with the peak of our Performing Arts journey being our biannual College Musical - a crowning achievement filled with rich rewards.
VISUAL ARTS:
Our Visual Arts program is designed to unlock the full potential of our students.
Through hands-on workshops with contemporary artists in our Residency Programmes, we provide a platform for students to explore current practices and refine their skills.
Our College takes pride in its excellent Visual art facilities and a team of experienced art educators.
