St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School
St Aidan's is a Prep to Year 12 Anglican day school for girls, with a co-educational Kindergarten.
St Aidan’s is one of the top performing independent schools in Queensland, located in a leafy Brisbane suburb, educating students from Kindy to Year 12.
St Aidan’s is well known for its focus on academic excellence, quality learning and teaching and commitment to pastoral care in an intentionally smaller school environment.
We are a non-selective school, welcoming students of all abilities. We nurture each student’s personal aspirations and provide every opportunity for them to achieve.
Our nurturing environment and inspiring professionals create a culture of educational excellence, allowing us to continue to achieve exceptional academic results each year with our students leading the state and nation in literacy, numeracy and ATAR results.
With over 35 academic subjects to choose from, and a diverse range of sporting, service and cultural extra-curricular activities to participate in, students receive a world-class education and are part of a connected community.
Learning and teaching at St Aidan’s is outward-looking and future-focused.
We buck the trend when it comes to girls and the study of STEM subjects. We hone our critical, creative, and collaborative skills in wide-ranging curricula, including STEAM, digital studies, literature, humanities, enterprise, arts, and languages.
Our students are free to experiment and explore, no matter their age or subject matter, and are encouraged to follow their ambitions in a supportive, encouraging, and playful environment.
At St Aidan's, we ask questions, we make mistakes, we take risks, and we always try again. We expect to change the future.
Our academic focus is balanced by our extensive extra-curricular options including over 50 specialised interest groups and clubs, almost 20 sports and more than 20 music ensembles. These help create our connected community where students are encouraged and empowered to be whoever they want to be.
Our community is built on respect, courtesy, and kindness. Students are encouraged to connect as individuals to something bigger than themselves and engage as active participants in all opportunities presented to them. We live in faith, guided by Christian values, with our connection to the Society of the Sacred Advent.
We embrace international students as they are a valuable part of our learning community. They help grow our shared understandings and perspectives about the world in which we all live, work and learn.
We look forward to welcoming all our International Students, whether full-time, or those joining us for The Study Experience Program for 4-10 weeks.
