We welcome you to contact the Principal at any time to discuss how our professional teaching staff are able to extend and challenge your child.

We are now also providing English as an Additional language (EAL):
We are a school made up of many learners who come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. To address this need some students attend English as an additional language as a separate program to ensure their English speaking, reading and writing develops.

Once a week ABC Music teachers visit GWPS to teach students that elected to play an instrument or sing in the school choir. They also showcase their talents in an end of the year concert.

Students gain experiences in the Art area of drawing, painting, printing, construction, modelling and threads and textiles. Each term we focus on one of the Art elements of Line, Colour, Texture, Shape, Tone and Pattern.

Student achievements are celebrated in displays throughout the school and there are many opportunities to contribute to collaborative artworks to enhance our school environment.
