OUR COLLEGE

Manea Senior College is an independent public school in Bunbury, specialising in senior schooling in the Southwest Region of Western Australia. We are also the only provider of the Approved Specialist Program in WA - the Health and Medical Specialist Program.

The College is a co-educational senior college, catering for motivated Year 11 and 12 students seeking university or vocational pathways.

Strategically located between Edith Cowan University (ECU) and Southwest Regional TAFE (SRTAFE), Manea Senior College students have the opportunity to combine their school programs with certificate or university courses through accessing the pathways provided by TAFE and ECU.

Manea Senior College has contemporary facilities and the College promotes flexible learning, a young adult ethos and work place expectations that prepare students for life after College.

Students can access a range of pathways that enable them to create post school opportunities for themselves and work towards the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), with courses at general and university pathway level, nationally recognised qualifications and endorsed programs that enhance the student experience.

OUR CURRICULUM

We offer our students a range of pathways linked with tertiary education and training. In addition to achieving their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), students will have the opportunity for multiple accreditation including university entrance and industry standard qualifications.

The outstanding teaching staff at the College have been through a rigorous merit selection process and will strive to achieve excellent outcomes for students.

OUR COURSES

Students at Manea SC have access to an extensive range of course and pathways. Some of the courses on offer include: English, Mathematics, Mathematics Specialist, Human Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Politics & Law, Psychology, Health & Physical Education, Business, Design, Media Production & Analysis, United Nations, Cadets, and a range of VET courses.

TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS

The College offers a wide array of nationally accredited training courses, including: Graphic Design, Aquatics, Animation, Health Industry qualifications, Community Services and some pre-apprenticeships.
