Living Waters Lutheran College is an independent Christian College providing quality education from Kindergarten to Year 12. Our purpose is to Nurture, Challenge, and Inspire our students to achieve personal excellence and live a life of integrity beyond the College.
Wellbeing and Education Excellence
At Living Waters Lutheran College we nurture the whole child and believe that student wellbeing is essential to achieve success. In keeping with the college mission statement, pastoral care is strongly embedded in all that we offer at Living Waters Lutheran College.
We offer a safe and caring environment where students are empowered to think critically and strive to do their best. We challenge and inspire students to become resilient, adaptable forward thinkers, who can make a difference. We embrace changing technologies as we bring the latest developments in education to our programs that prepare our students for tertiary study and future careers.
Curriculum and Specialist Programs
In our Primary years, Kindergarten to Year 6, our College provides a caring, structured environment that enables and encourages students to develop their natural curiosity for the world in which we live. We aim to inspire students to be active participants and foster a life-long love of learning.
In our Secondary years, we offer extensive curriculum with electives. We also offer Specialist Programs such as Languages (Japanese), Music and STEAM. The STEAM Program is an exciting extension program which is offered to selected students in Years 7 and 8. Students engage in project-based learning and tackles real world issues applying aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.
Sports
We believe sporting activities provide important learning opportunities for students. Our College provides a wide range of sporting experiences through local and independent inter-school competitions.
Our Institute of Sport provides a structured and professional environment that enhances students' sporting skills and offers unique opportunities to excel across a range of disciplines. We are proud to be a Netball WA Endorsed Netball Specialist School, delivering a comprehensive program aligned with the Netball Australia Long Term Athlete Development Plan. In addition to Netball, the Institute includes a Basketball Academy, Gymnastics Program and Pedal Prix teams.
